Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner, learned AGP for the respondents No.1 to 3 and learned Counsel for respondent No.6. None appears for respondents No.4 and 5 though served.

It appears that the petitioner, being aggrieved by the inaction of the respondents No.2 to 5 in not giving him appointment on compassionate ground, has filed this petition.

Upon perusal of the pleadings in the petition, it appears that the petitioner's father was working in respondent - institution. Father of the petitioner died and therefore, the petitioner claimed appointment on compassionate ground. Though he filed various applications / representations from the year, 2007, his grievance was not taken care of. According to the petitioner, though the petitioner ought to have been appointed on the post of Peon, one Mallappa Sangram Chandkshwar - respondent No.6 was shown undue favour in appointing him as a peon by the management, which is illegal.

It appears that the petitioner's name was never included in the list maintained by the respondents for appointment on compassionate ground.

We direct the respondents and in particular,

respondent No.2 and 3 to look into the grievance of the petitioner and take a decision on his application / representation, praying therein for appointment on compassionate ground, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within three months from today, keeping in view the Government Policy.

With the above observations, petition stands disposed of.
