ORDER :

In response to the Court's query, learned Additional Public Prosecutor informs that after preliminary enquiry in the matter, the Directorate of Prosecution under the Prevention of Corruption Act a proposal for sanction to offences and enquire the same under the provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 was referred to the State Government on 31.01.2023. According to him sanction from the State Government is awaited. In view thereof, he would urge hearing of the proceeding be deferred.

In the aforesaid background, we direct the respondent/State Government to take decision on the proposal forwarded by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Prevention of

2 cri pil 14.22 Corruption, Aurangabad Region within a period of three (03) months from today and communicate the same to this Court. 3.

In view of the above present criminal public interest litigation stands disposed of.
