Petitioner seeks execution of the award passed under section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act on 2nd January, 2019.

Learned Addl. G.P. submits that the petitioner has remedy of filing execution proceedings.

The petitioner may file execution proceedings. At the same time, the respondents are also bound by the award passed. The respondents shall also make endeavour, to make payment. If in execution proceedings, the steps are not taken to make the payment within reasonable time then the petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court. 4.

Writ petition disposed of. No costs.
