The petitioner claims to have belong to 'Mahadev Koli' Scheduled Tribe. His claim however, has been turned down by the Respondent No.2 i.e. Scheduled Tribe Certificate Verification Committee, Nashik vide order impugned in this Writ Petition. There are however, subsequent event. This Court, vide order dated 3rd February 2025 in Writ Petition No. 1563 of 2025 (Amol Shivaji Lawande Vs. The State of Maharashtra Through its Principal Secretary and Another) and the order dated 23rd October, 2024 (Shruti Satish Lawande Vs. The State of Maharashtra) granted validity to the daughter of the petitioner and nephew as well.

The learned AGP do not dispute the relationship. 4.

In view of the same, this Court has no option but to allow the petition in terms of the following order :-

ORDER

(I) The petition is allowed.

(ii) The Respondent No.2 Scheduled Tribe Certificate Verification Committee, Nashik is directed to grant the petitioner validity of his Tribe certificate within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

(iii) The validity shall be in force until the validity granted to the certificates of petitioner's daughter Shruti Satish Lawande and nephew Amol Shivaji Lawande holds the field. (SANDIPKUMAR C. MORE) (R. G. AVACHAT ) JUDGE JUDGE Y.S. Kulkarni
