The learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed the proceeding under Section 39 (1) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act for removal of respondent no.4 with respondent no.1 in July - 2021. The same has to be decided within two months as per the statute.

The learned AGP appears for respondent nos.1 and 2 and submits that the Divisional Commissioner would take decision upon it in accordance with law.
