The petitioner is permitted to appear for NEET (UG) Examination on the ground that he is short by 19 days for the required age. The petitioner does not complete 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2020. 2.

We have heard Mr. Tribhuvan, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Deshpande, learned Asstt. Solicitor General.

The eligibility criteria is provided under a brochure which reads as under :-

(2) WP-12387.2019.odt "(i) He/she has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS / BDS Course". 4.

The Regulation quoted above is in respect of NEET (UG) 2019 examination. It is submitted that for NEET (UG) 2019 examination the similar criteria is provided. 5.

It will not be possible for this Court to direct the respondents to deviate from the age criteria provided. 6.

In light of the above, Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
