By order dated 30.11.2023, Writ Petition No.8390 of 2018 was finally disposed by this Court directing that revenue entry made by Talathi bearing No.7076 is set aside and Talathi was directed to reconsider entire application of petitioner and decide revenue entry no.7076 afresh within a period of four months from the date of order. The affidavit in reply on behalf of respondents shows that Talathi has submitted his report dated 05.04.2024 and recommends that mutation entry no.7076 deserves to be cancelled. Accordingly, he complied the order passed by this Court.

Learned advocate appearing for petitioner submits that once mutation entry no.7076 is cancelled, mutation entry in the name of petitioner ought to have been restored. However, same has not been done. Apparently, there are no specific directions in order dated 30.11.2023 for restoration of mutation entry in favour of petitioner.

64-cp-889-2024.odt (2) However, the consequences of cancellation of mutation entry no.7076 has to be given effect in mutation record and restore to stand as it was prevailing prior to mutation entry no.7076. 3.

Contempt Petition stands disposed of with aforesaid observations.
