This is an application for withdrawal of amount of compensation.

2.

The application is opposed on the ground that the deceased was serving as a Junior Lecturer in Junior College and his retirement was after six years. Therefore, the learned Tribunal has committed error in the application of the proper multiplier. The learned Tribunal has applied multiplier of '11' in stead of '6'.

3.

In view of the above, I am of the opinion, the applicants can be permitted to withdraw 60 % amount of compensation together with accrued interest.

4.

Remaining amount shall be invested in any 1/2

927.odt Nationalized Bank initially for a period of 13 months and thereafter shall be renewed from time to time as per the direction of this Court.

Civil Application is disposed of.
