The applicants have approached this Court seeking interim protection, as their application for grant of anticipatory bail filed before the learned Sessions Judge, Beed, was pending. The learned Sessions Judge, Beed, by order dated 23.09.2025, declined to grant interim relief. Being aggrieved by the refusal to grant interim protection, the applicants approached this Court. This Court, by order dated 09.10.2025, protected the applicants, taking note of the order passed by the learned Single Bench of this Court in Civil Writ Petition No. 12193 of 2025, wherein a direction was issued that no further proceedings be initiated on the basis of the order dated 12.09.2025 passed by the Deputy Registrar. Accordingly, interim protection was 1/3

granted with a direction to the applicants to cooperate with the investigation.

The learned counsel for the applicants submits that the main application for grant of anticipatory bail is pending before the learned Sessions Judge, Beed, and is not being heard in view of the pendency of the present application. He, therefore, prays that the present application be disposed of and that the applicants be protected for a limited period, with a direction to the learned Sessions Judge, Beed, to decide the anticipatory bail application within a stipulated time.

The learned APP submits that the applicants have complied with the directions issued by this Court vide order dated 09.10.2025 and were available for interrogation. It is submitted that if a direction is issued for expeditious disposal of the anticipatory bail application pending before the learned Sessions Judge, Beed, the prosecution shall place its submissions on merits before the said Court. 4.

Having considered the submissions of the learned counsel for the applicants and the learned APP, and taking into consideration the interim order dated 09.10.2025, the order dated 03.10.2025 passed by the learned Single Bench of this Court in Writ Petition No. 12193 2/3

of 2025, as well as the order dated 12.09.2025 passed by the Registrar, I am inclined to protect the applicants till the disposal of Anticipatory Bail Application No. 963 of 2025 pending before the learned Sessions Judge, Beed. The interim protection granted by this Court shall continue for a further period of three weeks. 5.

The learned Sessions Judge, Beed, is requested to make an endeavour to decide Criminal Bail Application No. 963 of 2025 filed by the applicants, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
