The progress report was given by ATS, Mumbai and we have taken note of the same on 21st March 2025. Learned Advocate for the petitioner sought time to take instructions from his client and therefore, the matter was adjourned. 2.

Today the learned Advocate for the petitioner, upon instructions from the petitioner, tried to give copy of the representation addressed by the petitioner regarding his feelings. According to the petitioner, still there is scope to search

for his son who was minor when he went missing. We had asked the learned Advocate for the petitioner to explain in short, as to what his client wants to say. According to the petitioner, then the search has been done by the ATS from the angle when it searches for a terrorist and not as a missing person. 3.

We understand the plight of the father who looses his minor son. However, we have seen the reports submitted even by earlier investigating officer and then when we asked the ATS also to be involved in the matter taking into consideration the location that was shown and the material that was found and it appears that all possibilities have been checked by the ATS and it is not only from the angle of a terrorist but also as a simple common man, that too, when the said missing person is a minor. All the nearby States of Bangladesh were also involved in the search and the roaming location was also traced out. However, after the certain area, there was no clue regarding the same. It is also then traced out that by using Photo Editing App, the boy had prepared his own fake Aadhar Card. Ultimately when search from all angle has been made, now it is not possible to keep the Writ Petition pending for ever.

With directions to the ATS, Mumbai as well as District Superintendent of Police, Dhule to continue the search for the missing boy, we dispose of the Writ Petition. [SANJAY A. DESHMUKH] [SMT. VIBHA KANKANWADI] JUDGE JUDGE asb/APR25
