The unions espouse the cause of the candidates who have applied for registration under Ahmednagar Security Guards Board and Aurangabad Security Guards Board, respectively. The petitioners have tendered two charts indicating the dates on which they were registered online alongwith their profile ID. These charts are marked as "X-1" and "X-2", for identification. 2.

In identical set of circumstances, this Court at the Principal Seat, had passed an order on 20.9.2022 in writ petition No. 4725 of 2018 (Pradeep Shankar Patil and others vs Security Guards Board

The learned advocates for the respective sides are united in submitting that the order in Pradeep Shankar Patil (supra), which was followed in writ petition No. 948 of 2022 filed by Bhartiya Suraksha Rakshak vs. State of Maharashtra and others, may be passed in this matter.

In view of the above, both these petitions are disposed off with the following directions:- a) Respondent No.2 Board shall consider the applications tendered by the petitioners on their own merits and in accordance with law in the light of the directions contained in the order dated 8.2.2017, passed in writ petition No. 2939 of 2016 (Pune District Suraksha Rakshak and General Kamgar Union vs. The State of Maharashtra and others), as expeditiously as possible and without any further delay. b) All contentions of the parties are kept open.
