The petitioner seeks direction to the respondents to provide information as sought for. The petitioner had already availed of the remedy provided under the Right to Information Act and tendered the appeal to the appellate authority. The appellate authority took cognizance of the Appeal, tendered by the petitioner and imposed fine of Rs.1,000/- on the authorized officer on account of his failure to furnish required information. It is still open for the petitioner to avail of the remedy available in law. In exercise of the powers under Article 226 of Constitution of India, no interference is called for.
