The learned counsel submits that the proposal seeking approval to the appointment of the petitioner as Junior Clerk is pending with the Education Officer (Secondary) since three years. It is not yet decided.

In case the proposal seeking approval to the appointment of the petitioner as Junior Clerk is pending with the respondent No. 2, then the respondent No. 2 shall decide the same on its own merits and in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months. 3.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
