The two petitioners, by their separate petitions, have been seeking inter alia direction to the respondent No. 3-Tahsildar to decide their representations regarding difficulty in contesting and electing a Sarpanch in view of absence of any candidate from OBC category. 3.

The learned advocate for the petitioners, on instructions, submits that the petitioners are not pressing for prayer clause 'C' and would be contented, if prayer clause 'B' is considered. 4.

The learned A.G.P., on instructions, submits that the respondent No. 3-Tahsildar would consider and decide the representations of petitioners on 1/2

In view of above, we dispose of the writ petitions. The respondent No. 3-Tahsildar shall consider the representations of the petitioners on their own merit and decide the same within a week from the date of appearance of the petitioners.

The petitioners shall appear before the respondent No. 3 Tahsildar on 24.11.2022.
