The learned Advocate for the Petitioners points out an order dated 20.10.2023 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No. 13030 of 2023 (Ashok Murlidhar Wagh & Ors. Vs. The State of Maharashtra and Ors.). 02.

The learned AGP submits that the Finance Department of the Government of Maharashtra has introduced a Government Resolution dated 02.02.2024, by which the candidates are given an option of applying for the modalities set out in the Government Resolution by choosing to opt for the old pension scheme.

In view of the above, this Petition is disposed off. The Applications of the Petitioners, would be scrutinized by the appropriate authorities in view of the Government Resolution dated 02.02.2024, within the timeline prescribed.
