The learned AGP submits that an alternate remedy is available to the petitioner to raise his grievance before Director of Land Records in terms of provision of Schedule 'E' read with Section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code.

In view of the submission made by the learned AGP, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate authority to challenge the impugned order.

The time taken in prosecuting the present writ petition be excluded in computing the period of limitation. 4.
