By this Writ Petition, filed on 03/10/2023, the Petitioner prays that his proposal dated 25/04/2017, seeking approval to the appointment of the Petitioner as a 'Shikshan Sevak', be decided within a time frame. The same is pending with Respondent No.4/Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Latur.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off with the following directions :- (a) If the proposal dated 25/04/2017 is pending, Respondent No.4/ Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla

12754.23wp (2) Parishad, Latur, shall follow the due procedure laid down in law and shall carefully scrutinize the proposal, by taking into account the Rules/Regulations and the Government Policies applicable and the record pertaining to the selection of the Petitioner.

(b) Let the above exercise be completed within a period of 60 days from today.

(c) In the event, the proposal is already decided, a copy of the same shall be supplied by Respondent No.4 to the Petitioner, as well as to Respondent No.5/ Education Society, within three weeks from today.
