Mr. Mundhe, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an application raising objection to the tax imposed upon the petitioner. The respondents be directed to decide the same.

The petitioner has a remedy available under the statute to assail the tax liability. It is for the petitioner to prosecute the remedy available to him and / or take steps in accordance with law before the Corporation.

In light of the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of. All contentions of the petitioner are kept open. No costs.
