This Court in the order dated 01 September 2021 in Writ Petition No. 12864 of 2019 had directed respondent no. 2 to take a final decision as regards the amount that was payable / not payable to the petitioner.

The affidavit-in-reply, inter alia, for the reasons recorded therein, mentions that the petitioner is not entitled to any amount in respect of the bills submitted by him.

In the light of the above, nothing survives. Contempt Petition is disposed of. Needles to state that it would be always open for

the petitioner to take up the issue independently. The amount deposited pursuant to the orders of this Court dated 14 September 2023, shall be refunded to the respondent / Corporation.
