Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had filed application seeking disqualification of Sarpanch and Upa-Sarpanch of Grampanchayat Gartad, Taluka Chopda, District Jalgaon. The same is rejected by respondent no.02. The petitioner has preferred appeal against the said decision before Hon'ble Minister for Rural Development, State of Maharashtra, Mumbai, bearing Grampanchayat Appeal No. 113 of 2019. The grievance is, the appeal is not being attended by the Hon'ble Minister.

Heard learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondent nos.01 and 02.

Considering the fact that the appeal is filed by the petitioner before Hon'ble Minister for Rural Development, State of Maharashtra, Mumbai, bearing Grampanchayat Appeal No. 113 of 2019, the Hon'ble Minister shall endeavour to decide the appeal, on its own merits, after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and interested parties, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of three months after the ensuing State Assembly election takes place.
