ORAL ORDER The instant petition is presented by a minor girl, who is victim of sexual abuse. It is desirable not to disclose the identity of the petitioner.

The application is presented praying for grant of liberty to remove the name of the petitioner from the record of the Writ Petition No.12408/2017. It is the contention of the counsel representing the applicant that, it was an inadvertent error on the part of the counsel to record the name of the minor girl in the

{2} C of 17 in wp 12408.17.odt cause title of the petition. The unintentional lapse is regretted. Considering the contentions raised in the application, application deserves to be allowed.

The name of the petitioner recorded in the cause title of the writ petition as well as the index, synopsis and other record is permitted to be deleted. The petition as well as the index and synopsis shall be substituted. Office to accept the substituted petition.

The copies presented by the petitioner disclosing the name of the petitioner shall be kept in sealed cover. The registry is directed to delete the name of the petitioner from the computer record and instead record name 'X' (since minor through her father).

Civil application is disposed of.
