The appeal filed by the petitioners, against the order of rejection of caste (tribe) claim by the Sub-Divisional Officer, is pending before respondent no.02 - Committee since March 2015.

02.

In case, appeal filed by the petitioners against the rejection of their tribe claim is pending with respondent no.02, then respondent no.02 shall endeavour to decide the same, on its own merits, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of three months from the date of appearance of the petitioners before the Committee.

The petitioners shall appear before the Committee on 22nd October 2019.

With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
