Learned counsel for the petitioner draws our attention to order passed by the division bench of this court dated 08-032019 in a group of writ petitions bearing No. 4921 of 2018 and companion matters and submits that very same issue raised as in present writ petition had been involved in said group of writ petitions. In view of statement made by the Advocate General before the Principal Seat at Bombay in writ petition No. 14046 of 2017 with connected writ petitions that impugned government resolution would not be given effect to and a fresh government resolution had been issued, challenge to resolution would not survive and the purpose of writ petition stands served.
