Mr. Surve, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that, since 2001 the petitioner is submitting proposal for grant of additional divisions to Ist to VIIIth standards considering natural growth. However, said proposal is not considered and lastly the Deputy Director of Education has forwarded the proposal to the respondent No. 1 on 26.02.2014. The Education Officer has also recommended the proposal of the petitioner in positive manner.

We have also heard the learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondents.

In case the proposal forwarded by the respondent No. 3 is pending with the respondent No. 1, then the respondent No. 1 shall take decision upon the proposal of the petitioner for grant of additional divisions on its own merits, in accordance law and policy, expeditiously and preferably within a period of nine (09) months from today.
