Learned Counsel for the petitioner states that the validation proceedings of the petitioner's tribe claim is pending with respondent No.2-Committee. The petitioner is appointed as a Clerk-cum-Typist in the respondent No.4's ofice. Respondent No.4 has directed the petitioner to get the validity certificate within seven days or else adverse action would be taken. 2.

We have heard learned A.G.P. for the respondents.

Considering the fact that the tribe claim of the petitioner is pending with the Committee, we pass

( 2 ) wp12505.17 following order :- 4.

Respondent No.2-Committee shall decide the validation proceeding in respect of tribe claim of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within one year. The petitioner shall co-operate in expeditious disposal of the proceedings. Respondent Nos.3 and 4 shall not take adverse action against the petitioner only on the ground that the validation proceeding is pending. Respondent No.3 and 4 can take further course of action depending upon judgment that would be delivered by the Committee in the validation proceeding. The impugned notice is quashed and set aside.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
