CORAM : S.V.GANGAPURWALA & S.M.GAVHANE,JJ.
DATED :
12.10.2017 P.C. :- 1.
Learned Counsel submits that the Dy. Collector, (Setu) has issued tribe certificate to the petitioner of Mannervarlu (27) - Scheduled Tribe. However, spelling of the said tribe is incorrectly stated in the tribe certificate. The petitioner has applied for correction in the said spelling on 27.06.2017. The corrected tribe certificate is not being issued.
2.
We have heard learned A.G.P.
3.
It appears that on 07.03.2011 the petitioner is issued with tribe certificate of Mannervalue - Scheduled
( 2 ) wp12509.17 Tribe. However, the spelling is incorrectly mentioned as "Mannerwarlu". The petitioner has already applied for correction in the said certificate. There would not be any impediment to the authority to give corrected certificate to the petitioner after the petitioner tenders original tribe certificate issued to him with incorrect spelling. The petitioner shall surrender the original tribe certificate issued to him dated 07.03.2011 with incorrect spelling. The respondent authority shall thereafter within one month issue corrected tribe certificate to the petitioner.
4.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
