Mr Bolkar, learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners had appeared for the competitive examination held for selection of post of Shikshan Sevak in the year 2010. The petitioners were held eligible. Subsequently, they also appeared for C.E.T. Examination. However, the appointment orders are not issued to the petitioners. The petitioners in Writ Petition No.13168 of 2017 are from Other Back Ward category and the petitioner in Writ Petition No.13156

W.P.13156/2017 (1001) of 2017 is from general category. There are still vacant posts available. The respondents be directed to issue appointment orders. 2.

The learned Advocate for respondents submit that the marks obtained by the petitioners were below the cut off marks. 3.

Affidavit is filed by respondent no.2 showing that the cut off merit for O.B.C. category is of 144 marks and all these petitioners have secured much less marks than the cut off merit. From O.B.C. category petitioners no.1 to 4 have secured 132, 111, 111 and 127 marks respectively. The cut off marks in general category is 146 marks and the petitioner in the general category has secured only 109 marks.

In light of the above, the case of the petitioners cannot be entertained. Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. ( A.M. DHAVALE, J.) ( S.V. GANGAPURWALA, J.) vvr
