The learned AGP points out that the application dated 28.03.2023 addressed to the Deputy Collector would not be entertained due to lack of jurisdiction. The Petitioner should approach the District Collector.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits on instructions that if the Deputy Collector has jurisdiction, he may decide the pending application. If not, the Petitioner will make an application to the District Collector.

In view of the above, this Petition is disposed off. 4.

If the Deputy Collector has jurisdiction, he may decide the pending application within 60 days. If not, the Petitioner is at liberty to file an application before the District Collector.

Needless to state, the District Collector, Dhule would consider the said application within 60 days, if the same is filed within two weeks.
