The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the validation proceeding in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner is pending since December 2020. The petitioner is elected as a member of respondent No. 5 - Grampanchayat. The petitioner is required to submit the validity within a period of one year from the date of election. The committee is not deciding the proceeding. 2.

The learned A.G.P. accepts notice for respondent Nos. 1 to 4. 3.

If the petitioner does not submit the validity within a period of one year, the petitioner may face disqualification.

Considering the exigency in the matter, we pass the following order.

The petitioner shall appear before the committee on 21.12.2021. The committee if, it is possible for it may endeavour to decide the proceeding by 27.01.2022.

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
