The learned Advocate for the Petitioners submits that though the Award has been delivered on 12th December, 2006, the concerned authorities are willing to disburse the compensation amount now. The Petitioners' request is that the amount be paid within three months. Mr. D.R. Shelke, the learned Advocate representing Respondent No.4, submits on instructions that the amount would be disbursed within nine months.

Considering the fact that the acquisition has taken place in 1981, the award has been passed by the LAR Court on 3rd November, 1983 and the Award dated 12th December, 2006 under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisitions Act, that we direct the concerned authorities to ensure that the amount is disbursed to the Petitioners within 180 days

902wp4599-15 from today. We make it clear that there would be no extension of time in the light of the passage of more than two decades. 3.

With the above observations and at the request of the Petitioners, this Petition is disposed off.
