Petitioner is seeking directions against respondent No.1 to decide the application filed in the year 2016. The petitioner had already filed writ petition bearing No.6787 of 2007 seeking directions against the respondents to decide the application for grant of land on lease. The Division Bench of this Court under order dated 11-12-2007 disposed of the writ petition directing the authority therein to decide the application within a period of three months.

The learned counsel for petitioner submits that though petitioner is pursuing the said application, but authority did not take decision on it and he again filed fresh application in the year 2016.

The learned AGP appears for respondent Nos. 1 and 2. 4.

If this Court has already passed an order directing the authority to decide the application of the petitioner, then it is not necessary to again pass the same order. In case, the orders passed by this Court are not abided by the authorities, the petitioner has better remedy available. 5.

In light of that, writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail remedy available under law against the authority concerned for not deciding the application, as directed by this Court earlier.

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
