Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that since the appeal has been preferred by him before respondent No.2, at this stage he is not pressing for prayer clause "(B)". 2.

Learned APP after getting written instructions from respondent No.2, which are marked as Exhibit-A, prays for six weeks time to decide the appeal.

Important point to be noted is that the appeal appears to have been filed on 2nd October 2024, which is in respect of

cwp-1828.24 rejection of the parole leave. The purpose of leave would get frustrated if time as stated in the written instructions Exhibit-A is granted. According to us, period of four weeks would be sufficient. Therefore, we dispose of the Writ Petition by giving directions to respondent No.2 to decide the appeal preferred by the petitioner on 2nd October 2024, within a period of four weeks from today.
