The petitioner was required to upload documents evidencing his age, so as to be eligible to appear for the examination. Admittedly, the petitioner did not upload such documents along with the application. He, however, was allowed to appear for written examination. He claimed to have secured highest marks. He adverted our attention to the notification dated 03.10.2025 issued by the respondent/MPSC, where-under the candidates who have applied for the recruitment process were permitted to upload documents as stated above (age proof) within 7 days.

At this stage, without going into the merits of the matter, we direct the respondent/MPSC to allow the petitioner to appear for the interview (viva voce) today itself and keep his result in sealed

2-wp-12623-2025.odt (2) cover, if he is selected for the post and produce the same before the learned Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal, Bench at Aurangabad on the next date of the matter i.e. on 17.10.2025. The learned Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal thereafter shall decide the original application on its own merits uninfluenced by any observations herein or the fact of permitting the petitioner to appear for the interview.

It is clarified that if the petitioner is not selected, the respondent/MPSC may/shall declare the result, if it has otherwise no reason to reserve the result.

Writ Petition stands disposed of.
