The learned advocate for the petitioner submits, on instructions, that the proposal of the petitioner has been forwarded by the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation with positive remarks so as to be considered for promotion to the post of the Additional Commissioner.

The learned advocate representing respondent Nos.2 and 3 submits that the statement made by the learned advocate for the petitioner is correct and the proposal has been submitted to the State Government. However, he has learnt that the State Government has turned down the proposal.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off. 4.

We expect respondent No.1 to deliver a copy of it's decision to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably

If the petitioner is aggrieved by any decision of the Government, needless to state, he would be at liberty to seek redressal of his grievance by resorting to a remedy as is permissible in law.
