At the outset, the learned advocate for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the petition so as to avail the remedy under Section 154 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960. 2.

A recovery certificate for an amount of Rs.7,85,928/- is issued against the petitioner. According to the petitioner, after issuance of the said certificate, he has so far deposited an amount of Rs.140,000/-. In case, the petitioner deposits 50% amount of the recovery certificate (including the amount of Rs.140,000/-) before the revisional authority within a period of eight weeks from today, the recovery certificate shall be stayed.

With these observations, writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn, with liberty as prayed for.
