The validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner is pending. This Court under order dated 27.10.2016 had issued notices and directed the Respondent No.3 to declare result of the petitioner of 2nd and 3rd year examination of B.E. Mechanical Engineering course and if found eligible, the Respondent No.4 College to accept the examination form of the petitioner for the next examination and to forward the same to the University.

As the validation proceedings are pending, we pass the

following order :

a) The Respondent No.2 Committee shall decide the validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within nine (9) months. The petitioner shall cooperate in expeditious disposal of the said proceedings. The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 15.2.2017. b) Till the validation proceedings are decided, the Respondent Nos.3 and 4 shall not refrain the petitioner from prosecuting further studies only on the ground that validation proceedings are pending. Of-course, the Respondent Nos.3 and 4 can take further course of action depending upon the judgment that would be delivered by the Committee in the validation proceedings.

c) The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
