The learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondent/State raises a preliminary objection that, the petitioner has an alternate remedy before the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal.

In the light of that, though Mr. Bhumkar, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought to canvass submissions on merits of the matter, we are not inclined to consider the same.
