We have heard Mr. Kakade, the learned Counsel for the Petitioners.

The dispute is with regard to the amount of compensation. The petitioners are claiming pension on the basis of the pay scale of
2 57-58-WP-13579-2018 Rs. 4000-100-6000 with Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- whereas the pension is temporarily fixed considering the pay scale of Rs. 3500-75-4590 with Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-.

The learned Counsel for the respondent No. 3 submits that the proposal is already forwarded to the respondent No.1 seeking guidance for fixing the pension amount. The said proposal is not yet decided by the respondent No. 1. The said proposal is forwarded on 17.07.2018.

In case the proposal seeking fixation of pension amount of the petitioner is pending with the respondent No.1 as contended by the learned Counsel for the respondent Nos. 2 and 3, the respondent No. 1 shall decide it in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within a period of four months. Depending upon the decision taken, parties may take further steps. 5.
As far as representation of the petitioners for time bound promotional pay scale is concerned, the respondent shall take decision upon it on its own merits within a period of four months. 6.
