Issue notice to respondents. The learned A. G. P. waives notice for respondent Nos. 1 to 8. Mr. Ghute, the learned advocate waives notice for respondent Nos. 9 and 10. 2.

The learned counsel for petitioners states that, the petitioners are District Awardee teachers. The circular dated 12.12.2000 is implemented by all the Zilla Parishads. The learned counsel submits that, one additional increment is permissible to District Awardee teacher. The same is not been granted to petitioners.

We have also heard the learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondents/State and Mr. Ghute, the learned

The respondents shall consider claim of petitioners and on being satisfied that they are District Awardee Teachers, shall take decision with regard to the benefit of one increment as per Circular dated 12.12.2000. Same shall be done expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (6) months from today. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
