Heard learned advocate Mr. Murkute for the petitioner and the learned AGP.

The petitioner was awarded a contract for excavation of the sand from the river-bed. He is now seeking its extension for variety of reasons. It appears that he has submitted applications with the Collector, Tahsildar as well as the Deputy Collector concerned which are annexed to the Petition.

Considering the regulations / terms and conditions which are also placed on record, touching several aspects in respect of the contracts, to be awarded for excavation of sand, the petitioner's

2 WP / 11934 / 2022 grievance and claim for extension will have to be considered in accordance with the guidelines by the appropriate committee. 4.

Learned advocate Mr. Murkute submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if his representation is considered. 5.

Without indulging into any other dispute, we simply direct the respondents to place the petitioner's grievance received by them before the appropriate committee which shall take the decision as early as possbile.

Writ petition is disposed of.
