Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.

This is a case of extreme negligence of the government employee. The petitioner remained absent from service for 1545 days and one fine morning, she went to the school for joining the duties. She had requested the Head Master of the concern school on 15.12.2020 to allow her to join. Thereafter, she made representation to the Block Education Officer on the same day. She continued to request to the Block Education Officer and lastly she made a representation dated 12.01.2024 to the respondent No. 3 for sanctioning leave and allowing her to join the services.

It is astonishing that no appropriate action as provided under the disciplinary Rules was taken by the respondent officers against the petitioner, nor decision is taken on the representation dated 12.01.2024 and other representations made before the Block Education Officer/respondent No. 4. However, to have a legal adjudication, we allow this petition directing the respondent No. 3 to take decision on the representation dated 12.01.2024 without influenced by the order of this Court within a month from today. We also direct the respondent No. 3 to take an action against the responsible officer for not initiating appropriate action for unauthorized absence of the petitioner. [SHAILESH P. BRAHME J.] [S. G.
