Heard the learned Advocates for the respective parties. 2.

The petitioners claim compensation towards acquisition of their land, acquired by the Respondent for Katkheda Percolation Tank of village Katkheda, Taluka Ambad Dist. Jalna.

The facts are not disputed. The land is acquired for the project. The question is only of payment of compensation. The learned AGP has filed an affidavit-in-reply on behalf of Respondent No.6. Alongwith

( 2 ) 997-WP-14417-2021 Affidavit, there is a communication dated 24th November 2025, addressed to the Collector, Chh. Sambhajinagar by the learned SubDivisional Officer, Ambad. From the communication, it is seen that the amount towards acquisition is demanded by the learned Sub-Divisional Officer, Ambad.

This Court finds that about entitlement of the petitioners, there is no dispute. Only difficulty expressed is the paucity of funds. This Court, without going into other aspect, can conveniently dispose of this petition with a direction to the Respondents-authorities to pay the compensation within a period of six (6) months from today. 5.

With above directions, writ petition stands disposed off. 6.

Needless to state that the compensation shall be paid with interest as per law.
