The petition is filed to give directions to the respondents to decide the proposal of the petitioner Trust, seeking permission to run English medium school from 1st standard to 10th standard.

It appears that an online application was moved when an advertisement was published by the respondents for submitting such applications. The applications were to be submitted on or before 5th August, 2014 and the permission was to be granted for running the new school for the academic year 2015-16. It appears that the compliance was not done in time. The present proceeding

wp12064-2016 came to be filed on 26th October, 2016. In that view of the matter, this petition has become infructuous and no directions can be given at this stage. It would be open for the petitioner to file fresh application as and when new advertisement would be published.

With the observations, as above, the Writ Petition is dismissed.
