Present applications have been filed by the original claimants for getting the delay of 101 days condoned in filing first appeals. The claimants intend to file appeals for enhancement in the compensation granted by the learned reference Court.

Learned Advocate appearing for the acquiring body as well as learned AGP have strong objection to allow the applications.

Taking into consideration the fact that the original claimants are agriculturist, whose land has been acquired and taking into consideration the duration of the delay, liberal approach is taken, delay stands condoned.

Civil Applications stand allowed and disposed of accordingly. 5.

It is made clear that the applicants are not entitled to get interest for the period of 101 days, in case of success to their appeals. 6.

Registry to verify and register the first appeals and place them for further consideration on 21.01.2020.
