This is the Application for suspension of sentence. 2.

By order dated 16/12/2025, this Court had continued the order of suspension of sentence dated 23/11/2021 passed by the learned Trial Court, as the short term sentence is awarded.

Heard the learned Advocate for the Applicant, the learned APP for Respondent No.1 - State and the learned Advocate for Respondent No.2 - Victim.

Considering that, the sentence awarded is of three [03] years with fine, and the learned Trial Court had suspended the sentence till the Appeal period and this Court has continued the same till today, the same shall continue till the Appeal is finally disposed off.

The Applicant shall furnish fresh surety before the learned Trial Court in the same term as was furnished while suspending the sentence till the Appeal period.

Application stands disposed off accordingly.
