There were originally two claimants in land acquisition reference application namely Gangadhar Rama Shelke and Jijabai Gangadhar Shelke. In the appeal filed by the State only original claimant no.1 is made party. In fact, original claimant no.2 is also a necessary party. The present application deserves to be allowed and is accordingly allowed.

The State shall make original respondent no.2 as party respondent in the present appeal. Necessary amendment be carried out within two

In the application filed by the original claimant no.1, the name of original claimant no.2 is permitted to be impleaded.
