The Petitioner is aggrieved by the order of punishment, dated 13/04/2023, passed by the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Latur. The contention is that the Additional Commissioner has conducted an enquiry. 2.

The Petitioner can file an Appeal in view of Rules 14, 15 and 16 of the Maharashtra Zilla Parishad District Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1964.

Let such Appeal be preferred by the Petitioner. In the event of any delay, the proviso below Rule 16 would assist the Petitioner. The time spent by the Petitioner in this Court from 07/10/2023, till the passing of this order, would be one of the grounds for condonation of delay, if any.

If such Appeal is filed, we expect the Divisional Commissioner to look into such Appeal and consider all the contentions of all the litigating parties.

With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed off.
