This petition is filed by the petitioners praying for a direction to the respondent No.3, University, to constitute a grievance committee under Section 79 of the Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016. 2.
The learned advocate representing the University submits that the tenure of the Retired District Judge, as a Chair Person of the committee, is over. The tenures of the Management Council and the Senate, are also over. Until the elections of the Management Council and the Senate are held, constitution of the Grievance Committee under Section 79 of the Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016, cannot be completed.

The learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the
wp11965.22 -2University may be granted a reasonable time frame within which period, the Grievance committee can be constituted. 4.
Since we are informed that the preparation of voters' list is in progress and the elections could be held in the near future, we expect the University to constitute the Grievance committee, on or before 15.4.2023. In the event of any difficulty, the University is at liberty to file a civil application in this disposed off case, for seeking guidance/direction.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. 6.
As their appeals against the termination are pending before the University and College Tribunal, at Aurangabad, liberty to the petitioners to pray for early hearing in the matters. (SANJAY A. DESHMUKH, J.) (RAVINDRA V. GHUGE , J.) rlj/
