Heard both sides. Pursuant to the order passed by this Court in Writ Petition No. 963 of 2011 dated 26.06.2012, the petitioner's proposal was considered by the then Education Officer. However, by communication dated 27.11.2012 referring to the fact that some another matter SLP (St.) No. 33658 of 2011 was pending before the Supreme Court, he was unable to take any decision till the time the SLP was disposed of. 2.

It is being pointed out that subsequently, by the order dated 24.01.2014 the Supreme Court dismissed the SLP. Petitioner's proposal was again forwarded by the Headmaster to the Education Officer and in spite of persuasions he has not taken any decision.

We dispose of the petition directing respondent Education Officer to consider the proposal dated 17.12.2021 and the subsequent communications in respect of grant of pay scale to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any case within five weeks.
