The petitioners, who were serving as muster assistants are aggrieved by the fact that the pension papers are being prepared from the date they were confirmed/regularized instead of their initial date of appointment. 3.

Issue notice.

The learned A.G.P. waives service for the respondents. 5.

We dispose of the writ petition, directing respondent nos. 1 to 7 to consider and take a decision in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation/request dated 16.07.2024, albeit it is a notice issued through an advocate, by treating it as their representation. 6.

The decision shall be taken as expeditiously as possible and in any case within twelve weeks.
